Credit Freeze for Washington DC Residents

The Washington DC City Council is now considering two different credit freeze bills [bill 1 here] [bill 2 here] that may allow DC residents to freeze their credit reports to prevent ID theft! US PIRG’s Ed Mierzwinsiki’s, testimony before the Council yesterday can be found here.
